Lithuanian and Estonian partners visit Norwegian Circular Economy organisations

Partners from Lithuania and Estonia from the Circular Based Waste Management-CBWM project visited Norwegian circular economy expert organisations in a study tour organised by Green Business Norway.

Representatives from Mažeikiai municipality, the Telšiai Regional Waste Management Center and Paide Town Government, visited Norwegian organisations and facilities responsible for recycling and waste handling in South Norway.

The tour offered an all-round view of how the actions of different organisations play a role in implementing circular based waste management practices.

Partners were given a tour of the old recycling station of Renovasjon i Genland, who presented their plans to modernise their infrastructure. From there, the group met with Skien municipality and learned about the strategies for waste management within the municipality.
